2016 Hilo Bay Blast – 4th of July

Hey car enthusiasts!  The County of Hawaii, Parks & Recreation is coordinating the 2016 Hilo Bay Blast at the Hilo Bayfront Soccer Field on Monday, July 4.  Part of the festivities include a classic car show and shine at the soccer field.  Cars may arrive between 7-9 am.  There is NO ENTRY FEE to display your vehicle and everyone (including private owners, various car organizations & groups) are encouraged to bring their rides.  Vehicles will enter the soccer field via the road leading to the restrooms at the soccer field.

Car show is from 10 am – 4 pm and drivers are encouraged to stay till 4 pm.  Drivers are allowed to pitch a 10 x 10 pop-up tent along the perimeter of the soccer field leaving 10′ empty spaces in between each tent.   No open flames (hibachi, bbq grill, etc.), no alcohol.

There will be food vendors, live entertainment (Old School Band, Braddah Waltah, Country Western music, Girls Night Out and more) and a special performance at noon by a tahitian troup.  Drivers may stay at the soccer field to view the fireworks display at 8:00 pm.

This entire event is open to the public and FREE to all spectators – so come down and check out the eye candy, enjoy the delicious food and the awesome line of entertainment!
